The equipment and instruments were installed at the St Scholastica’s Mission Hospital run by the Benedictine Sisters at Barangay Cabab-toan, Pambujan, Northern Samar.

Further, there is a need for more surgical forceps and peritomes to enhance her work at the clinic. Dental supplies and sundries also need to be replenished.
Dr. Canya indicated that the dental chair has been refurbished and many of the plastic tubes within the dental unit were already changed. A new compressed air supply equipment was also provided as the motor of air compressor installed in 2014 has given up.

The charity dental clinic at the hospital is open 8 days a month and it provides free basic and emergency dental services to the poor and underserved residents in area of responsibility of the hospital. It has been in service since summer of 2014.

“All the new dental instruments we received will definitely enhance how we deliver the dental services to our numerous patients” stated Dr. Canaya. We are so thankful that the Foundation responded quickly to our request for help, she added.
